The ALTUS "Flute D'Amour" is a real instrument for enthusiasts. In the 18th century, the flute d'amour was a frequently played instrument, the small original repertoire dates from this period or from the present day. Since 1960, the instrument has been experiencing a renaissance with the extraordinarily gentle, soft and dark sound of a classical alto voice. Projection capability and air resistance are similar to those of a normal soprano flute, the instrument plays very easily and enchants every listener.
