The “Amara” scale is an incomplete natural minor scale, the missing note is the sixth. The ding is the fundamental, the first side note is the fifth. Lower amara instruments (B, A) go up to the seventh, the higher ones (C#,D,E) end on the second octave of the fundamental.
With this scale its hard to hit a wrong note. Easy going, ear-cathching melodies will come naturaly while jamming on an Amara scale. Great choice for a first instrument.
